Our Terms and Conditions

Handling of Complaints:
After a complaint is received we will contact the member involved. The member will be given ten days to contact the consumer and resolve the issue. Most complaints are resolved through an offer of refund by the member. If after ten days but before 21 days the consumer contacts us stating the complaint remains unresolved and there has been no offer of refund we will most likely add the complaint to the member's listing. If the consumer does not respond within 21 days the complaint is withdrawn and does not affect the member. Members agree to give refunds as directed by the Internet Trade Bureau as a resolution to most complaints. Complaints can be withdrawn at any time by the Internet Trade Bureau or the complainant. Members and complainants understand that any correspondence, conversations etc may be used in the complaint process. The Internet Trade Bureau reserves the right to post edited or non-edited copies communications that we send or receive on our website.

Unreasonable Complaints:
All unresolved complaints are investigated. The Internet Trade Bureau reserves the right to remove any complaints determined to be "unreasonable" by our staff. This determination will be made after both parties are heard and the circumstances are considered.

Refusal / Dismissal of Members:
The Internet Trade Bureau reserves the right to refuse any potential members based on a review of site content, business practices or complaints. No "adult" or "offensive" sites are considered for membership. The Internet Trade Bureau also reserves the right to dismiss any member determined to have "excessive" resolved or unresolved complaints and further, any member determined to be "unrepresentative" of our organization.

Use of Our Seal:
Only current members are allowed to use our seal. Any unauthorized use of the seal is a violation of law and will be handled accordingly. Any refused or dismissed members continuing to use our seal will be notified and given ample time to remove the seal and MUST do so.

Membership Dues:
Members agree to pay annual or monthly dues. Renewal member dues will NEVER go up in cost. The amount agreed to at signup is what members can expect to pay for the duration of their memberships.

These terms and conditions are subject to change as deemed necessary by the Internet Trade Bureau.
