The idea is very nice: To take a brand new website and to promote on the web while documenting online, in real-time, every action. If it's a brilliant idea for a super stupid idea, time will tell.
In any case it's going to be a cool thing to track. A good opportunity to get a close look on a website that is been optimized to be ranked high on search engines.
