Baby Nursery Bedding - Too Much Too Choose From?

From sports to dinosaur baby boy bedding, from lily to lace baby girl bedding - today's parents-to-be are faced with an enormous amount of baby bedding choices on the web. Many parents use their crib bedding selection as the focal point of the nursery. They choose the perfect bedding for their baby then build the room off the colors of the selection.

As a parent full of anticipation, you are left with the question of "Where do I even begin?"

The best way to tackle your search is to LIMIT your search. Here are some tips on helping you narrow down your choices:

1. Start with a Theme
Think about a baby bedding theme you would like for your nursery - Sports, animal/jungle, floral, stripes and plaids, and moon and stars are just a few of the examples you will find. Once you have a theme, you are a headed in the right direction.

2. Is it a boy or girl or ???
If you know your going to be having either a boy or a girl, this part should be very easy! However if you are waiting for the surprise, There are many selections listed as "neutral" gender so you can choose a theme that is suitable for either a boy or a girl. Choosing a neutral gender baby bedding collection for your baby can be very fun. The nursery can have a calm, contemporary, gender neutral feel and then when baby comes you can add accessories til your heart is content to make it look either very masculine or very girly.

3. Delivery Times
Some crib bedding can take a few weeks to arrive for at your door because most bedding is a special order drop shipped from the manufacturer. However, you usually have lots of time. Typically, from the time you place your order to the time you receive the bedding is about 2-3 weeks.

4. Accessorize!
Last but not least, you don't want to forget about the baby bedding accessories! Your baby bedding may the focal part of the room, but it's the bedding accessories that bring it all together. Some main examples many parents choose for the baby's room are listed below:

Safety Note: You want the coziest bedding for your baby but here's what you need to know about safety. Although you may see some soft pillows or stuffed animals that look adorable with your matching set, keep them out of the crib! These and any other soft items can pose as a suffocation hazard for your baby.
